The Witch’s Cauldron, our outdoor cafe, is open during the summer.
Various coffee specialties, tea, homemade cake, and Belgian waffles with ice cream or whipped cream are available. We have local beer, draught beer, soft drinks, and ice cream.
Order at the reception; we serve on the terrace or in the cafe opposite the reception.
Cafe The Witch’s Cauldron is open to everyone – including guests from outside.
The reception is the heart of the holiday village. Here you can check in and out, find information on attractions, rent bikes and get suggestions for bike rides in the area. This is also where you order for the café.
You can order freshly baked bread at the reception or sign up for the breakfast buffet (Summer period).
We have a “12-hole” mini golf course in the playground’s extension. Here’s your chance to challenge family or friends to a social challenge.

Petanque court with international targets.
It must be tried – everyone can join in. Who do you want to challenge to a duel?
The track is located behind houses 9 and 10.
Use of the court is free, and petanque balls can be borrowed at reception.
In Rødvig Ferieby, we have two large teepees. The small teepee can accommodate 40 people, and the large teepee can accommodate 80 people.
You sit on natural skins in the tepees, with a crackling fireplace in the middle.
The small tepee is open to all guests of the holiday village. The tepees can be reserved for your use.
In Rødvig Ferieby, we have wireless internet in all the houses.
In 2017, the holiday village was equipped with a fiber network, so there is plenty of opportunity to keep in touch with family and friends
We, Mette and Claus Høgenhaug, own and run Rødvig Ferieby. You will meet us at the reception and around the site.
We originally come from jobs in respectively IT and banking. But nature was calling us, and we bought the holiday village to be able to go to work every day with joy in our souls.
We relax in the holiday village – even when we’re at work. We fell in love with the unique location and the fantastic atmosphere. It’s as if your shoulders slump, and your breathing slows as soon as the car enters the winding path to the resort. And we hope you will do the same.
Our vision for the holiday village is that the atmosphere and nature provide a breathing space for both children and adults. Parents can safely let their children play in the whole area – there are only fields around us – and everyone knows pretty much everyone during the summer because there are so few cabins.
Rødvig Holiday Village is a place where we get to know each other. Where our children play with each other – across languages and ages – and where we eat together in the evening, either by the fire or in the tepee.
